The Cowork4YOUTH Observatory created in the context of the Cowork4YOUTH project analyses youth unemployment, inactivity and NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) across the European Economic Area.
The Observatory:
- Provides Web-GIS based data and visualisations on youth population, employment, skills, unemployment, and NEETs across European NUTS-2 regions.
- Uses maps, graphs, charts, and indexes (such as the Location Quotient) to identify regional labour and skills patterns.
- Highlights key youth challenges, including unemployment, skills mismatches and inactivity.
- Supports researchers, policy makers, youth stakeholders, and the public with data for analysis, education, and evidence-based decision making.
- Integrates data primarily from Eurostat, while also incorporating sources such as CEDEFOP and OECD.
