This mobile mapping viewer application demonstrates how the NavVis VLX3 wearable LiDAR system captures high-density, georeferenced point clouds of urban streetscapes — showcased here through a case study of Veikou and Dimitrakopoulou streets in Koukaki, Athens. Users can freely navigate the 3D point cloud to inspect building façades, street furniture, and the public realm at survey-grade accuracy. The case study illustrates how mobile LiDAR can rapidly produce walkable 3D records of entire streets, without drones or road closures, for planning, asset management, and digital twin applications.
